Trsničarska zadruga Vrhpolje z.o.o. was founded with the desire to offer the best cane grafts in Slovenia. In this endeavour, we have been incredibly successful. The Vrhpolje Cane Breeding Center also operates independently, but closely hand in hand with Trsnica, which primarily takes care of the cultivation of virus-free clonal planting material.

For the successful sale of cane grafts, the most important is the starting material. Slovenian customers expect high quality, so from the very beginning we have been working with the goal of offering first-class grafts. With this aim, we carry out a five-year mass selection in the vineyards of Primorska (Vipavska dolina, Goriška Brda, Karst, Koper), which is the starting point for clonal selection.
