MARMOR Sežana d.d. is a company engaged in the extraction of natural stone in Slovenia for use in the construction industry and architecture. Since 1947, their attention and work has been focused on karst stone, its extraction and processing.

The tradition of karst stone extraction at MARMOR d.d. spans over 75 rich and active years. Today, we combine tradition and history with technological progress and modern approaches and methods of extracting natural stone in Slovenia, and are considered to be one of the most reliable, successful and competitive business partners and providers in Europe.

There are four expansive quarries we work and extract natural stone from. The quarries employ experienced, qualified and dedicated passionate workers who devote themselves to their work with great zeal. In the future, we plan to open and begin extractions in three more quarries, which are currently in the phases of research and inspection or planning for the opening.

We extract four types of natural karst stone in Europe, Slovenia, which we have named:

• Lipica Unito,
• Lipica Fiorito,
• Repen and
• Kopriva.

They are unique stone, exclusively extracted and provided by MARMOR d.d.

With our own materials, we have created our own market, which means that we can work completely independently of the rest of the global markets. Our quarries are located near our production units, which ensures faster and more practical work and transport.
